Is there a cost to join?
No!
How old are the other kids in the group?
Most children range in age from newborn to kindergarten (although there are a few older kids and we'd like to add more).
Where is the meetup?
We usually meet at a park in Minnetonka. We also do occasional fieldtrips to other locations throughout the year.
What do you do at the meetup?
A parent may volunteer to bring a book to read or a craft / activity for the kids. Otherwise, the families may go for a hike together or just hang out at the meeting area while the kids play.
Is this a year round group?
Yes, we meet year round. In the winter if the temperature drops below 15 degrees, we may plan an indoor outing instead.
Is this affiliated with any religious organization?
No, Forest Friends is a secular group.
Is this a homeschool group?
This is not exclusively a homeschool group, although some families are homeschooling or interested in homeschooling.
